Project: Walk-in closet remodel for home in Naples, FL

Project description: “A young couple from New Jersey purchased a home in Naples that they planned to make their permanent residence,” says Holly Wright, who has been a designer with All About Closets for 16 years. “The wife wanted to update her closet that was dark wood. I designed the left and right sides of the closet using Blanca Elme for the exteriors and white for the interiors to create a two-tone look. Because she didn’t want any exposed hardware for the dovetail drawers, we had Doormark provide scoop drawer fronts.”

Wright says she never met the client in person. “We had a short phone conversation. I also incorporated a ladder (not shown) that slides across a rail in the back of the closet so that she could access her collection of handbags and other stuff from the top shelves. Ultimately, I sent her my design for her approval. She had no changes.”

Wright also designed the husband’s closet using Doormark products in Compania Elme. “It’s a totally different look and vibe,” she says.

All About Closets fabricated the closet systems at its 10,000-square-foot facility. Wright notes that Doormark is the company’s exclusive source for doors and drawer fronts.
