Project Notes: “The condo owner wanted a unique, high-end media center,” says Mitch Klinkner, president of Closet Tec Inc. “A high-gloss finish isn’t super common for media centers, but he wanted to use the same color that his kitchen cabinets are made of. He also wanted something that engulfed the TV but still looks very modern and isn’t too bulky. The unit we made is only 10 inches deep. It has six 18-inch push-open doors on the top and six more on the bottom.

“After we finished installing the cabinet, he had granite added behind the TV and pendant lights that can be super bright or dimmed to a faint glow depending on the ambience he wants at a given time.”
